- Founded Wakasaya Printing Co., Ltd. (Present Wellco Holdings Co., Ltd.) in Kanazawa, Ishikawa. Focused on commercial printing and started 24-hour operation in printing business for the first time in the Hokuriku region.

- Established Osaka Office in Kita-ku, Osaka.

- Established Nagoya Office in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya (present address: Higashi-ku, Nagoya).
